Group Leader in Stem Cell Research

Applications are invited for stem cell research scientists to join our expanding stem cell and regenerative medicine research program at Fundacion Inbiomed in San Sebastian, Spain (www.inbiomed.org). Stem cell research in our Institute spans the full research continuum from basic science to clinical trials in collaboration with several hospitals in the area, with the goal to make regenerative medicine a reality.
We are looking for a scientist who is an accomplished stem cell biologist with proven experience of utilizing stem cells as an in vitro system for answering fundamental questions in stem cell identity and fate, and/or for development of in vivo biomedical applications. The successful candidate will direct a new group, preferably in line with the existing strategic areas (mesenchymal, haematopoietic, cancer and neural) to answer key biological questions pertaining to stem cells and their applications. Leadership experience, ability to create a functional team environment, and capacity to obtain competitive funding are necessary. We offer a competitive salary and startup package.
