About us

The pharmaceutical laboratory Inbiomed Pharma was created in order to offer manufacturing services in a GMPc facility in the field of biomedicine to the pharma industry, biotechs and other public or private institutions in the development of advanced therapies. Inbiomed Pharma was authorized by the Spanish Medicines Agency in 2006 for the production of cell therapy investigational new drugs(N.4206-E).

From 2007 to 2009 we have developed bilayered skin equivalents for the treatment of a genetic skin disease named epidermolysis bullosa. This bioengineered skin has been applied to 11 patientes in the context of a phase II clinical trial(Eudra CT 2005-002329-30), recently concluded.

The skin substitutes were produced in compliance with GMP guidelines for research use in human subjects, inside clean room facilities where the whole process is registered monitorized through standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strictly controlled to ensure product quality.

Our Mission

Inbiomed Pharma has set the following goals:

Clinical traslation of the cell therapy products derived from Inbiomed Foundations' laboratories research lines.
Clinical trial development in Advanced Therapies.

We also offer our GMPc facility services for the following purposes:

Biotechnological drug manufacturing.
Development and maintenance of human/animal cell culture and cell banks for therapy.
Expansion and banking of human/animal cells (MCB/WCB).
Consulting and staff training for advanced therapy drug manufacturing.
